Once again, our church family filled shoeboxes to support Operation Christmas Child. This annual outreach project is one of the many programs run by Samaritan’s Purse.
Our goal was to fill 35 boxes. We are happy to share we filled 37. The boxes were delivered to the Pembroke, NH collection site on November 19.
We have scanned the codes on the labels so we can track where the packages go. Last year our OCC shoeboxes went to Peru , Columbia and “ Hard to Reach” areas.

The downstairs area for the children is nearing completion.
A dedication will be held in February.
Childrens' Sunday School
After about 15 minutes of worship music the children are dismissed to Sunday School. There is a program for kids ages Gr. 1 up to Grade 6.
There is another class for preschool children ages 3 years to 5 years.
Both classes run about 30-40 minutes.
This time for children includes a snack, a Bible lesson, craft time, and movement activity through music. The preschool class also has some time typically for general playing with toys. The current Sunday School units of study are "Emotions" for the gr. 1-5 children and "Building Blocks - God is the Builder of Everything!" for the preschool children.
